Gonzaga University is excited to announce the adoption of an Early Action application process for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Early Action option allows prospective students to submit their applications earlier in the year, receive admission decisions and merit scholarship notifications sooner, and have more time for thoughtful college decision-making.

The Early Action deadline is set for November 15, with decisions anticipated to be released in late December. The Regular Decision deadline remains February 1, providing applicants the opportunity to include senior year grades for admission review, potentially strengthening their applications. Students applying under the Regular Decision deadline can expect decisions by early March.

Additionally, all nursing program applications must be submitted by the Early Action deadline of November 15. Applications received after this date will be considered for the nursing waitlist, ensuring equitable consideration of all nursing applicants within a single decision release.

Key Dates:

  • Early Action Deadline: November 15
  • Early Action Decision Release: Late December
  • Regular Decision Priority Deadline: February 1
  • Regular Decision Release: Early March

"Gonzaga University is committed to supporting our prospective students by providing processes that fit their needs,” said Steve Keller, senior director of Undergraduate Admission.

"These application options benefit students wishing to lock in college decisions early, as well as students waiting to include information that could enhance their profile in the admission review,” Keller said. “We’ve found that they appreciate this flexibility and we’re pleased to reflect the needs and expectations of today’s applicants."
