After starting the fourth day of the immersion program learning about computer science studies and coding, the high school ladies had lunch with Captain Sarah Watson from Fairchild Air Force Base, where she directs IT services, satellite communications, and secure cyberspace capabilities..
Afterwards, the program's Peer Mentors answered questions about what it's like to be a college student at Gonzaga studying computer science and engineering.
Dr. Meirong "Mary" Zhang (above, left) led students on a robot programming project, showing them one aspect of computer engineering.
