My favorite class at Gonzaga was "Assessing and Promoting Wellness," one of my upper division nursing classes. What I enjoyed most about this class is that it taught us much of the basic knowledge and skills that will be used throughout our nursing careers. As I've progressed through the nursing program, I continue to use what I learned in this class every day! It was also my first class with my nursing cohort all together, and we all got to know each other and bond a lot through it.

One of my favorite classes at Gonzaga has been Biology: Information Flow in Biological Systems with Dr. Andrade. It was really fun to learn about the foundations of biology, and to apply them to real life situations. We got to look at some medical case studies, which was really interesting as well.

My favorite class at Gonzaga is my Public Relations Principles class with Dr. Nickerson this semester. I have been enjoying our class activities where we get to experiment with messages and different theories in different groups. Additionally, my professor is super kind and is always wanting to know more about us outside of academics by asking us fun questions once a week at the beginning of class. This class also has a lot of guest speakers who work in PR for different organizations, so it is also super helpful to learn about the different paths that we can take with a degree or experience in PR. I also really appreciate these guest speakers because most of them are alumni from GU and it shows how successful people who have been in my shoes are and the opportunites they have gotten through their experience at Gonzaga.

One of my favorite classes at Gonzaga has been Regression Analysis with Dr. Kelsey Carlston, a core course for my Economics B.S. degree. I especially enjoyed the semester-long research project, where I gathered real-world data on a topic that interested me and built a regression model to analyze it in depth. Dr. Carlston made the class come alive by connecting complex concepts to real-world applications and keeping the learning process interactive and engaging throughout the semester.

My favorite class at Gonzaga has been my first-year seminar with Dr. Clark that focused on paranormal activity. It was such a unique and fun class where we explored how people make sense of the supernatural and what those beliefs say about our culture. We even learned about Gonzaga's ghost stories which was a cool way to get to learn about campus as a freshman! You can really tell how passionate Dr. Clark is about what she teaches, it makes the class way more interesting and fun to be part of. The discussions always got me thinking and I actually looked forward to going every time.
