Dr. Carissa Basile received her Ph.D. in Psychology with an emphasis in Behavior Analysis from Marquette University and her M.S. from California State University, Northridge in Behavior Analysis. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with experience in severe problem behavior, social skills, early intervention, and tic disorders. Dr. Basile's research interests include evaluating how learner preference affects teaching efficacy, learning efficiency, and skill maintenance. Additionally, she is interested in research that focuses on the reduction of problem behavior, both in increasing the use of evidence-based interventions and evaluating modifications to existing interventions. In her free time, she loves to explore Spokane and go on hikes with her dog, Zuko!
