Why Gonzaga Law?

At Gonzaga Law, we are committed to preparing our students to become the best version of themselves. As a Jesuit, humanistic university, this looks different than most other law schools in the country. Here, you are not a number or a metric to be measured. You are not a cog in a machine. You are a valued, individual human selecting a vocation in service to the greater good.

We pledge to support you in a variety of unique, personal ways:

  • Since your merit-based scholarship is guaranteed for your time here, the only competition in the classroom is between you and the course content. This collaborative learning community engenders cooperation and growth instead of cutthroat competition.
  • Our Academic Success Program (A.S.P.) provides a road map to lead you from orientation through bar passage. Resources, seminars, and advising is available for students from the jump to ensure you are prepared to join the bar in whichever state you choose to practice.
  • Our Law School Career Office (LSCO) is a resource that develops stronger careers by fostering connections between Gonzaga Law students, alumni, and employers. Beginning as early as the summer before your 1L year, you will begin meeting with LSCO to plan for your future career.
  • Cura Personalis is an essential Jesuit charism, and one that our students live out daily. Our Student Affairs team is invested in community building with social and supportive activities throughout the year. Our geographic location offers access to indoor and outdoor activity year round, allowing our students to find balance outside of the classroom.
Wondering if Gonzaga Law School is right for you? Our admissions team is here to help.
