Wendy Thompson (Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes), Director of Tribal Relations
Wendy has spent the past two decades advocating for Native students at Gonzaga. She has been instrumental in building the University's systems of accompaniment for Native students in alignment with the mission. Barbara Gongyin (Spokane Tribal Member, Makah Tribe Descendent), Coordinator of Native Student Accompaniment
Barbara has a history of providing management and support of a variety of projects across sectors, including health and wellness, organizational management, economic development, justice, and education. With a passion for making sure her community feels connected and welcome, she is honored to welcome Native students as they build their new community at Gonzaga.

Daniel Campobasso (Colville Tribe), Student Coordinator
A Gonzaga graduate, Daniel supports Native students, helping create a welcoming environment at the Native House that aligns with the University's Mission. Prior to this, Daniel worked as a client services coordinator at BDA, LLC, collaborating with major league baseball teams and corporate partners on a variety of promotional projects. With a background in project management and client relations, Daniel is passionate about supporting and guiding Native students through their academic journey at Gonzaga.
