Additional Resources for Graduate Students

Grad Plus Loan

The Federal Direct PLUS Loan Program allows graduate students to borrow long-term, low-interest funds to help meet education expenses. An absence of negative credit history must be shown to qualify for this loan. The maximum Federal Direct PLUS Loan amount is calculated by subtracting the total aid awarded to the student from the cost of attendance. To request the Federal Direct PLUS loan, please visit StudentAid.gov. Federal Direct PLUS loans must be applied for each year, as they are not automatically renewed.

Outside Scholarship Search

Outside scholarships can be great resources for graduate students. We encourage you to look in your community to see if there may be any available to you. We recommend starting with banks, credit unions, service organizations, churches, and parents’ employers.

Additionally, in support of our current and potential students, Gonzaga's Financial Aid Office maintains a database of scholarships for students to access, search and apply for awards. Please be sure to check out our: Outside Scholarship Search Engine for additional opportunities.
