Degree Requirements

The Department offers two degrees, two majors and one minor:

  • Bachelor of Science, Chemistry major (with American Chemical Society (ACS) approved option)
  • Bachelor of Science, Biochemistry major (with American Chemical Society (ACS) approved option)
  • Bachelor of Arts, Chemistry major
  • Minor in Chemistry

Please reference the Undergraduate Catalog for course requirements specific to the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department majors and minor.

  • The B.A. is offered for students seeking a strong background in chemistry, but with less specialization than the Bachelor of Science program. A minor in Chemistry is also offered.
