Meet the Reisenauers

Dave (’82) and Cathleen (’84) Reisenauer are dedicated Zags who search together for meaningful solutions to important problems. They are passionate about the impact of Jesuit education and Gonzaga’s unique approach to student-athlete wellbeing.

Formed in 2017, the Zags360 program provides a distinctive way in which Gonzaga commits to helping its students think about their wellbeing. “The Zags360 program offers student-athletes a distinctive competitive advantage by fostering a holistic approach to their development and wellness, resonating with the Jesuit ethos of cura personalis—caring for the whole person,” said Dave.

With its multifaceted structure, Zags360 activates student-athletes' commitment to their own success, ensuring a shared responsibility for wellness, and accompanies them in their journey. This new standard for student-athlete development offers tailored support and resources across mental, spiritual, social, academic, financial, physical, career, and community aspects.

By investing in these critical areas, Gonzaga ensures that student-athletes are not only prepared for success in their sports but are also empowered to translate their on-field lessons into real-world excellence and leadership.

“Support from Zag Nation is going to be key to propel these efforts forward,” said Cathleen. “This initiative touches on the dignity of the human person and helps enable our students to take these skills with them as they help build a better world.”
