Gonzaga’s New Venture Lab (NVL) is a student-run program that consults local entrepreneurs for nine weeks each Fall and Spring semester.
Student Program Directors lead the development of a personalized work scope with entrepreneurs and student Project Managers.
Project Managers are assigned a team of five student consultants who create various deliverables for their entrepreneurs depending on their skills, interests, industry, and discipline.
Some examples of these project deliverables include social media strategies, financial analysis, or database research.
Project Managers are responsible for:
- Communicating with their entrepreneurs weekly
- Interviewing student consultants for the following semester
- Engaging in community events on or off campus
- Leading their teams to ensure the success of their entrepreneurs’ goals/scope.
Each project provides students with real-world experience they can apply to their careers, empowering them to become more involved in the Spokane entrepreneurial ecosystem.
