Outcome: Candidates are trained to become scholars and researchers who can critically evaluate teaching strategies and curricula then communicate those findings to families and the professional community.
Length: The program is 32 credits and typically completed in one to two years. Courses are taught primarily by full-time faculty.
Early Childhood Special Education Endorsement: Students can choose to add an early childhood special education endorsement while completing the program. This would allow students to work with individuals from birth to 2-years old in school-based environments.
