All three activities are included for you to enjoy! However, if there is a specific activity that you cannot participate in, please let our Office know at outdoors@zagmail.gonzaga.edu and we will make accommodations for you.
In order to get access to your residence hall room, you will need to check in on Sunday, August 18, 2024. The time and location of check-in are currently being determined and we will update you as soon as we can. You will return to campus on Thursday, August 21 in time for Orientation #6 if you’re attending that session.
We are usually able to pick some students up from the airport if you’re arriving early on the morning of August 18. Please contact Gonzaga Outdoors at outdoors@zagmail.gonzaga.edu for more information.
Students can arrive on Saturday evening if they have to but are encouraged to arrive on Sunday morning if possible. You are encouraged to book a hotel room if you arrive on Saturday. If booking a hotel is not possible, we will try to make accommodations to the best of our abilities. There is no programming planned for Saturday night and you are responsible for all meals on Saturday.
Yes, students participating in GOOB will have the opportunity to check into their residence hall rooms on Sunday morning, August 18. You will not, however, have time to get your rooms settled, (you will have at most about an hour), but you will be able to get your residence hall keys and put your items in your room. GOOB participants will be able to stay in their residence halls following our return.
