Welcome New Zags to Gonzaga University!
New Student and Family Programs, along with the entire Zag community, is dedicated to providing new students with a welcoming, informative and incredibly fun Orientation Experience. We are all thrilled to welcome you all to campus and join you as you begin your journey at Gonzaga University!
Summer Session Dates
Session 1: July 14-16
Session 2: July 17-19
Session 3: July 21-23
Session 4: July 24-26
Session 5: July 28-30
Registration instructions are sent to the email address students applied with upon confirmation of enrollment by paying your deposit for the Fall 2024 semester. Registration confirmation, along with all future communications from New Student and Family Programs, will be sent to zagmail.
All new Zags will stay on campus in Coughlin Hall for their new student orientation session.
These sessions are for students only. Parent and Family members are invited to attend Parent and Family Orientation taking place during Move-In and Welcome Weekend, August 23-25. Registration for Parent and Family Orientation will open in the late spring/early summer.
Packing list for Summer Sessions:

University prohibited items such as: drugs, alcohol, weapons, fireworks, etc.
*Please note that Spokane can get very hot in the summertime. While the residence hall you will be staying in (Coughlin Hall) has air conditioning in the halls and common spaces, the individual rooms are not air conditioned. Expect dorms to still be warm at night.
