David Neiwert is an investigative journalist and author based in Seattle, and a senior staff writer for Daily Kos. He is the author of numerous books, including the upcoming The Age of Insurrection: The Radical Right's Ongoing War on Democracy, scheduled for June release from Melville; and Alt-America: The Rise of the Radical Right in the Age of Trump (Verso, 2017). Neiwert has won numerous awards for his work, including a National Press Club Award for Distinguished Online Journalism, and an International Latino Book Award for Non-Fiction.
