For Students

The world our students will enter into as graduates will require them to be globally competent and each student needs the ability to navigate complex and diverse workplaces to thrive as professionals. Global engagement happens not only when going abroad, but just as frequently on-campus as well. Students can develop their global skillset through a study abroad program or by actively engaging in activities on campus like being an International Student Peer Mentor or joining Global Conversations. The Center for Global Engagement directly serves students through two primary offices: International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) and the Study Abroad Office. These two offices engage Gonzaga students and scholars from across the globe in enriching education experiences, in Spokane and abroad. We build intercultural skills, foster dialogue, understanding, and respect for diversity.

Gonzaga University's curriculum is infused with internationalism via the curriculum, faculty, and opportunities to study abroad, among others.

Study Abroad Opportunities

In addition to the courses of study and engagement opportunities on campus, Gonzaga hosts a variety of study abroad programs to supplement students' learning experience. No matter the Major, Study Abroad is a fantastic way to broaden your horizons and create meaningful experiences that contribute to Gonzaga's mission of holistic learning.
