Gonzaga in Florence is the University’s flagship Study Abroad program and global hub campus for opportunities rich in art and culture. We have been leading global education for over 60 years in Florence, featuring a traditional undergraduate program taught by Gonzaga University faculty with distinguished immersive learning experiences. Students with any major can choose a full-year, semester, or Summer term experience. Graduate-level students can earn credits in partnership programs, and we continually offer an array of special programming for adult learners, as well.
Options for engagement in outside-the-classroom learning include internships, volunteer programs, community service programs, and site visits. Extracurricular activities include English-for-Pasta, organized sports leagues, day and weekend education travel journeys, and activities with local community members. Gonzaga in Florence maintains the high standards of cura personalis by accompanying students during their time living and learning in a foreign country, which is home for our staff and faculty.
The Mozilo Center is our campus in the center of Florence, not far from the Duomo and minutes from Michelangelo’s David in the Galleria dell’Academia. The broad range of courses, activities and services hosted from the Center ensure that each learning experience in Florence is safe, successful and transformative.
