About
Gonzaga’s Jesuit, Catholic, Humanistic education will challenge and inspire you.
The WASFA is only for undocumented Washington Resident Students. Students who can file a FAFSA do not need to file the WASFA.
Gonzaga offers many different institutional scholarships. We recommend viewing the Office of Admissions page for those scholarships requiring an additional application. Many of Gonzaga's other scholarships are awarded either through majors of study or through other criteria set forth by the particular scholarship. You are also encouraged to view our outside scholarship database to view available scholarship not specific to Gonzaga.
The following list can be used to ensure your financial aid is completed and disbursed in a timely manner. If you have any questions regarding this list or any of the requirements you may have, please stop by or contact our office at finaid@gonzaga.edu or 509-313-6582.

The Federal Educational rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) forbids schools from disclosing most confidential student information to non-school persons, including government agents. This federal law applies to all educational institutions and agencies that receive federal funding. FERPA seeks to protect all "educational records," which is a broadly defined term that includes any information related to students that is under the control of the school.
There are two categories of information that are exempt from FERPA protections. FERPA does not prevent official request for information that come in the form of court orders and it allows schools to share directory information that includes information that may be relevant to immigration status such as location of birth and your current address. You can find a list of items that Gonzaga has designated as directory information by clicking on the following link: Office of the Registrar FERPA info. You can restrict the release of any or all directory information.
A student may request that directory information not be released by completing the Request for Non-Disclosure form in person at the Office of the Registrar. Students will be required to complete the form and present their ID in person when submitting the form.
