Center for Engineering Design & Entrepreneurship

A crowd of people of all ages gather outside on a sunny day along sidewalks and tables of academic posters, talking and pointing to machines, computers and photographs.

CEDE oversees Gonzaga's Engineering & Computer Science Senior Design program. Teams of seniors work on a complex problem for the full academic year, developing the problem-solving, communication, and business skills which students will need in their future careers. It also meets requirements of both Gonzaga's core curriculum and ABET accreditation.

Steps of a Senior Design Project

CEDE collects project proposals from various sponsors through mid-summer

Students rank their project choices and are assigned to a team in September

Each team works together to meet milestones and create deliverables

Students deliver project and present on final results in late spring
