New Student Orientation s hosted by our Student Affairs team and is held the week before classes begin. Orientation events are required for all new students. Gonzaga University does not offer graduate or doctoral housing, so all law students will make their own housing arrangements. For deposited (or matriculated) students, our orientation team will send out information about neighborhoods, housing options, and a place for incoming 1Ls to connect with each other and share information.

Many students apply to law school while still completing their undergraduate degree. If this is your situation, you will need to send a final transcript showing that your bachelor’s degree has been awarded. This transcript must be sent to LSAC (in the same fashion as when you applied).

Admitted students may request to defer their acceptance for one year on a case by case basis. Students interested in deferring should e-mail the admissions office with a brief explanation. If a deferral is granted, the student must submit their $500 non-refundable tuition deposit. Any offered scholarships will be maintained and carry over with an approved deferral.
