Diversity Equity and Inclusion Department:
The DEI team consists of 4 positions, each with very specific roles and functions tailored to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization and the university. The Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion oversees the Advocacy Coordinator, Campus Inclusivity Coordinator, and the Community Engagement Coordinator. The team works on planning and facilitating events that acknowledge diversity on campus as it includes, but is not limited to, background, nationality, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, ethnicity, political beliefs, and values. Overall, the team promotes positive activism that recognizes Gonzaga's diversity of interest and identities.
