The Director of Sustainability is responsible for overseeing the Gonzaga Green Fund, running Green Fund Council, and implementing sustainable programming on campus.
Green Fund is a sum of money set aside by a portion of the Sustainability Fee to fund student-led sustainability or environmental projects on campus or in the Spokane community. Student applications for funding are reviewed 4 times per academic year by the Green Fund Council, who allocates funding for eligible projects. These projects propose opportunities to enhance sustainability in Gonzaga University's campus operations.
