Second Harvest brings community resources together to feed people in need through empowerment, education and partnerships. They believe that everyone has the right to health, and nutritious food is a key ingredient in the recipe for a healthy life. Second Harvest envisions a world in which every person – regardless of age, race, ability, income or status – has access to the food they need to live a life full of the activities and people they love.
Current Partnership Projects
Bite to Go/At the Core
Bite 2 Go is a Second Harvest - At the Core program that provides food for kids in Spokane to take home each weekend during the school year. Through our Opportunity Northeast initiative, we are sponsoring youth at Shaw Middle School by providing financial support and helping deliver food to Shaw.
