Most institutional scholarships for continuing students are administered through the Financial Aid Office. Students do not typically need to submit separate applications for these scholarships, as many are automatically awarded based on academic performance and other criteria.
In some cases, academic departments may recommend students for endowed or program-specific scholarships. Upper-division students are encouraged to connect with their faculty, department chairs, or advisors to explore additional opportunities. These may include external scholarships, research grants, or internships that are specific to their field of study.
Typically, twice a year, internal scholarship opportunities become available to current and/or returning undergraduate students. Students will be notified regarding these scholarship opportunities through the Morning Mail email (a daily email sent to the Zagmail email account of all current Gonzaga students.) Students are encouraged to monitor Morning Mail emails for notification on these scholarship opportunities, as well as information regarding the application process.
