Gonzaga is truly a spectacular place of transformation. Here, people can discover who they want to be and the kind of difference they want to make in the world. Zags are committed to personal growth, pursuing curiosity, and building meaningful connections with others. I absolutely loved my time as a Gonzaga student and want to help bring that experience to all kinds of people. It’s my dream to help students envision themselves as a part of Gonzaga’s community and accompany them on the journey to making that vision a reality. What’s your favorite place on campus? My favorite place on campus is Lake Arthur. The natural beauty of campus and student life come together in a really special way. When looking across the lake, you can take in a gorgeous view of the Spokane skyline or the sunlight reflecting off the copper tower of Jundt art museum. Some of my favorite memories from undergrad include gathering for outdoor class, eating lunch with a friend in the soft grass, or just basking in the sun next to the water. What’s your favorite thing to do in Spokane? I love going to the movies!! As a huge movie lover, Spokane is truly a booming film community. Spokane is home to an AMC IMAX theater and two different awesome independent cinemas, The Garland and The Magic Lantern. Additionally, there are tons of opportunities to engage with the arts, live theater, & community showcases both on and off campus. Advice for prospective students: My biggest piece of advice to prospective students is to open every door! You never know what opportunities might be on the other side. College is a time to sample lots of different things and to chase your curiosity. As a student, make sure to try out different clubs, intramurals, arts, courses, & more. By giving yourself freedom to explore, you might find yourself loving something you never expected. As you’re exploring Gonzaga’s program offerings, don’t be afraid to ask lots of questions & reach out!
